What warranty comes with a kit set pool?

10 year concrete shell, 7 years fibreglass, 1-5 years pool parts.

What is the lead time for kitset pools

What does the Fibreglass finish look like ?

The finish is smooth on foot and has an orange peel feel texture that’ll help to make it non-slip resistant

Do the kitset Tiny Pools arrive plumbed?
Yes our Tiny pool kit sets are delivered pre plumbed up to the top of the pool edge, from there the customer plumbs from the pool to the pool pump area (all parts included in the kit set)
Can I heat my Tiny Pool ?
By upgrading your Tiny Pool package to include a heat pump it turns your Tiny Pool from a seasonal pool into a year-round swimming pool as our heat pumps can heat the water up to 40 degrees. Imagine swimming in your pool during winter on those cold winter days and nights.
Can I order a kitset pool in the South Island?

YES! Our kit sets are available nationwide, except for Stewart Island

Do you sell larger pools ?

Our Kit Set Tiny Pools are precast. Our standard pool sizes are listed on our website here. THE XL is our largest pool at 6x3m 

Can I modify a Tiny Pool?

With Tiny Pools being precast concrete this is not possible

Are there fencing requirements when installing a Tiny Pool?

By law, all pools regardless of size must have a minimum 1200 mm pool fence around the pool and 1800 mm fence on the neighbouring boundary fence / fences.

  • Our Tiny Pools only require a fencing consent
  • A swimming pool consent is not needed for our Tiny Pools

What’s a hydrostatic valve?

It prevents ground water pressure from raising the pool or causing movement. The hydrostatic valve prevents this by allowing ground-water from your surrounding area to flow into the pool and relieve the pressure on the pool structure.

What in excluded?

-Pool Standpipe / Inspection Pipe

As a result of the amount of rain we have had over the last year Tiny Pools highly recommends a inspection pipe to be installed on your pool.

What is a Pool stand pipe / inspection pipe?

we highly redcomend pools have an inspection pipe near the pool, usually just near the pool edge.

These need to be installed at the time the pool was placed in the ground to check ground water levels near the pool.

The Dig Out Plans have all the info needed

Install

Do you only supply or can you help out?

Tiny Pools will only supply your kit set and arrange delivery. – With our kit set range its up to the customer to manage the install. We have preferred installers nationwide, please get in touch and we can help you out.

Who Installs a Tiny Pools kitset?
  • You can get your local landscaper or builder to install your pool.
  • We also provide fully instructional manuals if you’re wanting to DIY the install.

Who does the plumbing on the kitset pools?
  • Our Tiny pool kit sets are delivered pre plumbed up to the top of the pool edge
  • We highly recommend your local plumber installing the plumbing to the pump area but if you’re wanting to do this yourself we supply instructional manuals for the plumbing
Do I need an electrician for anything?

Yes, your licensed electrician will need to install power to the pump area. – Electrical specs will be sent out once a quote has been accepted.

Do I get any information on how to install the kitset?
Yes! Once the quote has been accepted we will send you an installation guide for the pool dig out, install and plumbing.
How are the pools delivered?

North Island – Pools are delivered on the back of a hiab.

South Island – Pools are delivered on the back of a flat bed truck

How much access does the HIAB truck need ?
  • You need a minimum access area of 2.6M wide for the HIAB to drive though.
  • The HIAB will need space for the stabilising legs, the room needed varies from site to site.
  • Our HIAB can reach a max of
    – THE XL 2-3m
    – Classic 6-7m reach
    – Manu 5-6m reach
    – Mini 7-8m reach Outside this range it’s best to organise a local crane company to get a price.
  • South Island- Pools come on the back of a flat bed truck.

Can I install a Tiny Pool on a slope?
A Tiny Pool can be installed on a slope, but depending on the angle of the soil, an engineer may be required. We highly recommend that the slope difference between one side of the pool and the other should not exceed l (one) meter, and the angle of the soil should not be greater than 30°
Can I use a Tiny Pool as a retaining wall?
Yes you can as long as there is no more than 1m difference from one side of the pool to the other. An engineer may need to get involved depending on the retaining wall.
What should I consider before installing a Tiny Pool?

Start by deciding where you’d like to place your pool.

Check for any existing services in the area where you plan to install it.

Reach out to your local council for advice on any relevant fencing regulations.

If you’re planning to have the pool installed by a landscaper, builder,
or preferred installer, be sure to engage with them early.

Pricing

What payment / deposit do I need to make?

Payment to be made within 5 days of acceptance of the quote

50 percent on approval with the remaining amount to be paid in full 2 weeks prior to delivery.

Can I get a refund after paying for a kitset?

Refund of 80 percent of the total amount 6 weeks before delivery date, after this date there is no refund sorry.

Does the kitset price include install?
No the kit set is supply only, installation is up to the customer, landscaper or builder.
Does the price include the delivery of the pool?

No, once we know the address where the pool is going we can give a price for delivery.
